GUIDANCE IN MARRITAL CRISIS

GUIDANCE IN MARRITAL CRISIS

Ephesian 55:22-23

Wives, be submissive to your husbands as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the house, as Christ is the head of the church.   As the church submits to Christ, so also let the wives be to their husbands in everything.

As a child of God, are you still submissive to your husband during crisis in your marriage?   Remember that marriage is a covenant from God so, during crisis in your marriage reflect on how you have been that good wife before God by being submissive to your husband. Submitting fully to your husband during crisis attracts God’s intervention and direction in your marriage. When you submit fully to your husband in prayers and meditation then God takes over your battle because you are fulfilling

Ephesians 55:22-23.

Faint not in the days of adversity, God will always speak in our storms or crisis moments. Be still and listen to the voice of God not men. Even if the society mocks you, be strong and stand on God’s word in submissiveness. Ask God for wisdom and strength when you are weak. Remember to pray for your husband, asking God to arrest his heart.

In the mist of misunderstanding or argument in your marriage, this is the moment to stay quiet. Getting into argument with your husband can provoke him to raise his hands or say words that you wouldn’t like to hear thereby worsen the situation. As a Christian wife evaluate your husband when he is calm or after serving him a nice meal etc.… you can bring up the topic again but speak gently to him. Definitely he will respond positively to you and peace is restored. Every wise woman builds her house but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.

proverbs 14:1

Be a wise woman and make your home a dwelling place for your husband.  Remember to put God first in your home, always declare how you want your home to be.
